We are deeply saddened by news that a young boy has tragically passed away in Ramsey. It has come as a terrible shock to our community. It is at these times that we wish to come together, to support each other, and to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us.
We know that when someone we love dies, we want to mark their passing with something beautiful, a gesture that stands out, with meaningful, sentimental and collective actions
If you’re trying to think of a way to honour young Christopher, or another a loved one, here are some beautiful things you can do together

🌺 Floating flowers on a river or the sea – a gentle, beautiful and symbolic gesture that returns beauty to nature
🫧 Blowing bubbles – delicate, healing and very moving especially for young people
🕯 Candlelight vigils – a soulful and powerful way to reflect, especially with community
🌳 Planting a tree or sowing wildflowers – a deeply meaningful action that creates life which grows in their memory
📜 Writing messages on seed paper - a cathartic action which allows us to express our thoughts which can then be planted to bloom as flowers

Our thoughts are with Christopher’s loved ones at this extremely difficult time. We send our wishes of heartfelt sympathy and healing to all those who knew him.
We hope that some of these ideas will provide deeply sentimental ways to remember him and others who we’ve lost. Grief deserves space, and remembrance deserves meaning
If you’d like help finding or organising an environmentally safe memorial, we’re here to support however we can.
